Alex Howard is the Director of Strategic Communications and Media Affairs at the McKeon Group. In this role he develops and implements engagement strategies to assist clients in achieving their business, policy, political, and social objectives in traditional media outlets and social media. 

Prior to joining the McKeon Group, Mr. Howard worked at a bipartisan consulting firm where he focused on legislative work for corporate, municipal, and nonprofit clients and assisted them in drafting federal policy proposals in the foreign aid, education, telecommunications, and disaster relief spaces. 

Alex also served in the Obama White House Office of Hispanic Media, where he engaged with Hispanic press to promote the President’s agenda in the United States and Latin America. He is a veteran of battleground congressional and presidential campaigns in communications and organizing roles and has also worked in the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate. 

Alex is Nicaraguan-American and grew up in Florida. He’s a graduate of the New Mexico Military Institute and Florida International University, where he studied political science and economics and graduated Summa Cum Laude. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, SCUBA diving, and watching films. He resides in Northwest Washington.
