Cyber Security

We assist our clients in approaching, educating and advocating their specific objectives and concerns to Congress and the Executive branch as it relates to cybersecurity policy and appropriations.

The heightened concern is justified and important as the result of failing to appropriately address cyber vulnerabilities can be extremely detrimental to the ability of a government or private sector organization to fulfill its duties and obligations.
We are the best- positioned advocates for expanding the veteran community, unfunded military and homeland security requirements and for helping shepherd smart investments in education and workforce development. We view the annual Appropriations process as an integral part of policymaking and are adept at helping Congress use it to increase oversight of Federal agencies, restore Congressional intent on legislation, limit agency actions, and clarify policy priorities.

For example, we are helping small- and medium-sized businesses reemploy displaced workers now at historic levels, by relaxing restrictive labor regulations. We are also developing next-generation modes of transportation with rechargeable batteries and natural gas, advancing clean, renewable energy programs while smartly and economically drawing upon our Nation’s abundant natural reserves to support the American economy. It is through the continued desire to build a better, more educated and more talented America, on all fronts military, citizen and industry, that drives McKeon Group each day.

Our access to House and Senate leadership, Committee Members on both sides of the political aisle, and their staff provide our clients with a near daily “check” on their targeted interests throughout an increasingly complicated budget and appropriations process. McKeon Group maintains an unparalleled depth of talent that can advise all clients as to “who, what, when and how” the Federal government can provide the maximum benefit for the use of taxpayer funds across the Federal budget.

McKeon Group Advantage
McKeon Group maintains an unparalleled depth of talent that can advise all potential clients as to “who, what, when and how” the Federal government can provide the maximum benefit for the use of taxpayer funds, for the benefit of shareholders, the United States military, first responders of all stripes, and the ultimately the American consumer.
In February 2016, President Obama implemented the Cybersecurity National Action Plan (CNAP) that takes near-term action and implements a long-term strategy to highlight cybersecurity awareness and protections, protect privacy, maintain public safety as well as economic and national security, and empower Americans and their organizations to take better control of their digital security. The President’s Cybersecurity National Action Plan (CNAP) is the result of more than seven years of effort by the Obama Administration, building upon lessons learned from cybersecurity trends, threats, and intrusions. This plan directs the Federal Government to take new action now and fosters the conditions required for long-term improvements in our approach to cybersecurity across the Federal Government and the private sector.

McKeon Group knows how important it is for the private and public sector
communities to work together when facing a serious cyber-attack and recognizes the government’s ability to help in such circumstances. Navy Adm. Mike S. Rogers, commander of U.S. Cyber Command and director of the National Security Agency said it’s unrealistic to expect the private sector alone to withstand the onslaught of activity that is being directed against them by nation-states and other actors.
